This page explains how to request deletion of your account in the Nekti app, provided by Qryptraveller LLC (service name: Nekti; “we”), together with its data, and which data we delete and which data we retain.
1. How to request deletion
You can request deletion in either of the following ways.
- In the app: open the Settings screen in the Nekti app and choose “Request account deletion”.
- By email: if you cannot open the app, send an email to support@nekti.site with the subject “Account deletion request”, including your registered email address and the name of your store. To confirm that the request comes from you, please send it from your registered email address; we may also contact you to confirm.
2. Data we delete
Within 30 days of receiving your request, we delete your account and its data, except for the items set out in sections 3 and 4 below.
- Account information (sign-in information and your store’s registration details)
- Data used to run your store (menus, reservations, the customer registry, waitlist entries, delivery addresses, etc.)
- Staff registration details (excluding the attendance records described in section 3)
- Conversations with the AI assistant and the memory the AI assistant keeps
3. Data we retain as required by law
The following records must be kept by law. We therefore keep them after your request until the legally required period has passed, and then delete them. While we keep them, we use them only to meet our legal obligations and for no other purpose.
- Accounting and bookkeeping records (order and checkout history, invoices, journal entries, and photographed receipts and invoices with the text read from them): 10 years (Article 432(2) of the Companies Act of Japan)
- Staff attendance records (name, staff number, hourly wage, clock-in and clock-out records, location data captured at clock-in, etc.): 5 years (Article 109 of the Labor Standards Act of Japan)
4. What may remain after deletion
- Backups: automatic database backups are kept for the most recent 7 days and are removed in turn once that period has passed.
- Operation records (audit logs): to prevent tampering, audit logs are kept without a fixed retention period in a form that cannot be altered or deleted after creation, and they remain after your account is deleted. They contain only your internal ID (a random string of letters and numbers), the operation performed, the date and time, the IP address and the device type; they do not contain names, email addresses or phone numbers. Once the legal retention periods have passed and names and similar records have been deleted, the internal ID can no longer be used to directly identify an individual. We use audit logs only to investigate misuse, to maintain security and to comply with the law (Article 10-8 of our Privacy Policy).
